JFK50 App — Privacy Policy
The JFK50 app is a personal step-tracking tool built and used by Charlie Deist. It reads daily step totals from the account holder’s own Google Health / Fitbit data, via Google’s official API, solely to display progress toward a personal walking goal.
What it accesses: daily step counts only (the googlehealth.activity_and_fitness.readonly scope).
How it’s used: shown back to the account holder inside the app. Nothing else.
Sharing: data is never sold, shared, or transferred to any third party.
Storage: step totals are processed transiently; OAuth credentials are stored securely server-side and used only to fetch the account holder’s own step data.
Deletion: access can be revoked anytime at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately ends all data access.
